Our dynamic team is made up of only experienced, specialised, fun and enthusiastic speech pathologists.  

Angela Laws
Angela is the owner and Principal Speech Pathologist of Bubbles Speech Pathology.  She has been providing communication assessments and therapy for children in Perth and in the UK for many years. Her experience spans across many Child Development Centres, schools and several hospitals, both internationally and locally. 

Ange's interest is in working with young children and their families to provide the best outcomes in the years before school and early school age. She works with children who have language delay/disorder, phonological delay / disorder, motor speech difficulties (including CAS)Ange is a PROMPT Certified speech pathologist.  She is a trained Hanen Therapist (More Than Words), providing programs that are tailored for young children who have a language delay. She also has specialist training in Lidcombe Program for Young Stutterers, which helps young children who are stuttering achieve normal fluency in their speech. This is a particular area of interest for Angela, with first-hand knowledge at being a mother of a stuttering child.

Kathryn Waugh
How she coordinates being a working mother of four small children is rather inspiring!  In addition to working with language delay / disorder, Kat enjoys working with early language development and stuttering.  Kat's extensive experience spans multiple countries and varied areas of speech and language development.

Dr Roslyn Ward
After the completion of her PhD, Roz joined the practice.  She has over 20 years of clinical experience, focussed on working with young children with motor-speech disorders.  She is a PROMPT Instructor and passionate about pursuing treatment research.

Jasmine Martin
Jasmine has vast experience in a range of clinical settings, across various countries (although we are not sure that "working" in the Bahamas constitutes work).  Jasmine is PROMPT trained (Bridging Level), is an advanced Lidcombe Program therapist and has received Hanen (It Takes Two To Talk, More Than Words) training. Jasmine also has a keen interest in Specific Language Impairment. At the end of her day, she returns to family life with three children. 

Feline van Brakel
Given Feline's Dutch background, a therapist with experience in bilingual considerations is a welcome addition to the team.  Feline has over 16 years experience in working with an array of areas relating to speech and language, across early intervention and providing services to the school aged population. 
Feline has Introductory PROMPT training and Lidcombe Program for Early Intervention of Stuttering.

Jessica Cayoun
Following a fulltime weekday job of speech pathology management in the Health Department, Jessica brings enthusiasm and experience to Saturdays! Jessica's speech pathology interests are varied and extremely competent throughout all areas of managing speech and language delay / disorder, along with stuttering. Jessica has Introductory PROMPT training. 

Kat Hewson-Bower
Kat has recently joined the Bubbles team.  Kat has worked in private practice both internationally and in Australia.  She has extensive experience working with children with a range of speech and language delays and also previously owned South Metro Speech Pathology. Kat is particularly passionate about early intervention as a powerful means of making a long-term difference in children’s development and growth, not only in speech and language but also in relation to self-esteem, social skills and academic success. She has a particular interest and expertise in early language and articulation delays and disorders.
